# Why are most questions here about high energy physics ?

It seems that most questions are related to high energy physics. There's not much discussion about condensed matter physics , nuclear physics and virtually most other branches. Why ?

It is because the the current population of this site consists mostly of high-energy people. We absolutely welcome physics discussions from other branches. It'll definitely be nice to have diversity.

I tend to think that condensed matter theorists don't like to discuss on online forums .
@anonymous, that might be the case, but even taking that into account, my impression is that there should be enough condensed matter people lurking online to make a viable community, maybe they just need some time to "come out of the closet".
