  Snow without sunlight

I just saw an ad for a certain mobile game. The sun was obstructed by some machines. And there was snow and wind blowing. The snow: My theory is that snow coulfn't have formed, because the were no einds, as the air couldnt have been warmed, so the particles of water couldnt have gotten into the air to form snow, do the ad is scintifically wrog. If my thery is wrong or has holes in it please do correct me. (That's why I'm here, also sorry for formatting, I'm on a phone and rnglish is not my native language)
