The paper derives the $G_2$-MSSM in the field-theory limit of the M-theory landscape upon compactification on $G(2)$ manifolds. The paper studies a number of phenomenological properties of this model.

This is a landmark paper, as the results allow one to derive a number of predictions of M-theory in realistic vacua, most notably the mass of the Higgs at 125 GeV, which was later confirmed experimentally at the LHC by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations.
