What is a Mood Ring and How Does it Actually Work?
Mood rings are a type of jewelry that change colors based on the wearer's mood. They are often used to predict the wearer's mood, but they can also be used to help determine what mood their wearer is currently in.
A mood ring is a small, circular piece of metal or plastic with an embedded glass disc that changes color in response to the body's inner temperature. The color depends on how much heat energy is absorbed by the material.
The color of a mood ring changes as it warms up and cools down, and its intensity also varies according to how much energy has been absorbed by the material. When it cools down, it becomes more intense and when it warms up, it becomes less intense.
