How would you caculate the Earth's orbit if the sun were to decrease in mass?

Does anyone know an equation I could use to calculate the radius of Earth's orbit (assuming a spherical orbit) around the sun if the sun were to decrease in mass? So far every equation I've used gives me a lower orbital radius since I'm keeping either orbital velocity or orbital period constant. I know I need to change the values of either the velocity or period but I'm not sure how. Does anyone have any ideas?
