  Image uploading issue again.

I tried two ways of uploading a picture:

(1)Use the "upload" option, which says "Select local image to upload to PhysicsOverflow Server (jpeg,png,gif)"

(2)Use the "source" option, under which I need to input the URL of my image.

Neither works for me, and the same error message "Image source URL is missing" pops up, and meanwhile the option tag automatically jumps to "Image info".

At least method (2) used to work for me, but now it doesn't any more.

This is a styling issue. The upload button is invisible until you hover on it.

I'll try to fix it.

Fixed.

@dimension10, Now method (1) works (not supporting uploads bigger than 1MB, so not entirely satisfying), but (2) still doesn't, exactly the same error message appears.

@JiaYiyang. Another styling issue, sorry. Fixed now.

@dimension10, thanks, but now method (2)'s limit is 600 pixels....SE doesn't seems to have such limit.

@JiaYiyang Sorry, I wasn't aware of your question. The limit for upload size has been introduced to avoid large scale spam. I have increased the size now to 4 MB. Should you require more, ask a SuperAdministrator to increase this value temporarily (the technical limit given by the database and PHP is 16 MB).

The image width adjustable in the editor's dialog refers to the rescaled width of the image within the post. It is not a limit for the upload. Its intention is to design the width within the post to create a nice layout, if required. The maximum width of 600 pixels is given by the width of the text in a post.

@polarkernel, thank you very much!
