How do I filter Meta questions and comments?

I've been going through some of the user pages.

I noticed that both the comments and users tabs contain both meta and Q&A questions.

It would be useful to separate the Meta Questions(and comments) from the Q@A section(and possibly even the review section).

Is there any way to do that already?

Secondly when I click on the comments tab, Each time the user comments on a given thread it is shown multiple times. It would be good if there is only one instance appearing per page.

It's unfortunately not possible to filter by category yet, although it's a feature request to have an "advanced search" feature that would allow for this.

Regarding comments, the point is to have links to all comments posted by the user. Mentioning full discussions might not be a good idea.

What I would like is much more primitive that an advanced search feature. Its only to sort out the meta from the Q@A. But I guess I can wait for the full thing to be implemented.

When I click on a link on the comments tab of a user page it anyways goes to the answer page.

So what's the point of having multiple copies of the same link in a page.

This is a bug caused by the recent introduction of pagination and temporary hiding of the older comments. It happens whenever the comment is too old to be shown or not on page 1, so the html doesn't contain the name tag, and by default goes to the top of the page.

I had already complained off-line, and was told it will be corrected in due time. Then comments will again go to the comment only, as it was two weeks ago.

Note: The older comments are shown if you click on 'show previous comments' (separately for the question and each answer), to turn to a particular page use the button near the answer box. (But this doesn't help in locating a particular comment...)

@ArnoldNeumaier I think you confused the "user's comments page" with the "user's history page". That's a different issue altogether.
