  Problem with mathematical expressions

With Internet Explorer 9, I see correctly mathematical expressions $..$, in Stack Exchange, but not (often) in Physics Overflow.

For instance, in the answer of 40227 to the post of JeffDror 's post :

http://www.physicsoverflow.org/18871/intuition-behind-mass-corrections-to-massless-fermions

(The format is OK in the question, but not in the answer)

Why?

I use Firefox which is ok, but when using the Internet Explorer I see exactly the same problem too ...

@Dilaton No, assuming Trimok means the TeX remaining unrendered (as opposed to a red [Math Processing Error], this fairly often in Firefox, Chromium, and Chrome too, just less often. This bug has stayed with us since the first day of the private beta and I've been thinking of reporting it too.

@polarkernel It seems the MathJax timing issue still persists after you've fixed the bug thrice. Do you know of anyway to fix it?

Ok, I managed to fix it myself. It seemed that some essential MathJax settings were placed after the actual MathJax script. What the settings actually did was to recognise the single dollar as a legitimate method of inserting inline TeX (and not just the \.( \.) without the dots). So whenever a post used the dollar method for inserting TeX instead of the TeX button, the TeX was not rendered.

I've tested it about a dozen times and the fix seems to work. @Trimok please tell me if you continue to encounter the bug. If not, I'll mark this as status-completed.

OK. It works now. Thanks
