  Increasing Overall Font Size

The font-size for physicsoverlow is a bit smaller than I would like. I think it makes things look a bit dense and uninviting. I would recommend raising it by a few points (in particular for the questions, answers, and comments, but overall really...). I just wanted to suggest it and see what the community thinks.

The font size is set at 14px, which is a standard font size generally considered ideal for webpages. If you're seeing only the font size for PhysicsOverflow to be small, you probably either

  • are zoomed out - zoom in
  • have a PhysicsOverflow userstyle installed - fix the userstyle
  • have a browser which pushes its own styles to a greater priority than the styles of individual webpages - change the default style settings of your browser (if this is not possible, it's time to stop using IE6)
  • don't have the Helvetica installed on your system and therefore are viewing it in some other font which may look smaller - install Helvetica, it's usually pre-loaded
  • are on a mobile device - wait till our mobile theme comes out or use a computer if you can

Hah, now I really feel stupid. Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't know my browser would save a different "zoom value" for different websites. Should I close the question?

@JeffDror, No there's no need to close it.

Funny, this is the third time I've accidentally zoomed out on PhysicsOverflow after reading this question.
